Jeep's August Sales Figures are In
The Jeep brand posted sales of 42,243 units for August 2006, a slight increase compared to previous year sales of 40,659 units for the brand. The Jeep Commanderposted sales of 8,012 units, a 1 percent increase over July 2006 sales of7,363 units. Full Press Release.

Careful When You Back Up!
Oh boy! The Jeep Commander was recently named by Consumer Reports as "Worst Blind Spot Offender", among 200 other cars and SUVs. The magazine testers determine that a 5' 1" driver could not see the top of a 28" traffic cone (roughly the size of a small child) from a distance closer to 69 feet. Read specifics of the report.
